Dear Friends,
I appreciate the opportunity that you have given me to serve you in the capacity of Tax
Commissioner. As you know, it is my desire to offer courteous and efficient service to you.
Our office is located in the County administrative office building. The entrance to the office is
behind the Regions Bank in Jefferson, GA, on Gordon Street. The Tax Commissioner’s Office in
Jefferson is the only location in Jackson County for handling motor vehicle transactions and the
billing and collecting of mobile home, timber and property taxes for the County.
It is my hope that the information contained herein will answer some of your tax related
questions. If you ever need or desire any information regarding your tax situation, please feel
free to call on me or any member of my staff at any time.
